Elysium Network

Network parameters, endpoints and wallet configuration for Elysium.

Live on testnet

Saelis is being developed on Kinetiq's Elysium, a high-performance, general-purpose EVM Layer 2 for the Hyperliquid ecosystem. Elysium is an Arbitrum Orbit rollup running stock ArbOS, operated with Conduit, that settles to HyperEVM and uses HYPE as its native gas token.

Testnet configuration

The values below were verified against the public RPC, which returns 0x185d9 (99801) for eth_chainId.

Add Elysium Testnet to your wallet

Uses the standard wallet_addEthereumChain request. Your wallet asks for confirmation.

Mainnet

Elysium mainnet is pre-launch. Kinetiq has stated that the mainnet chain ID and block explorer will be published at launch. Until then, Saelis does not document mainnet values.

Network characteristics

Figures as published in Kinetiq's Elysium documentation. Several are pre-launch targets rather than measured mainnet values.

ParameterValue
StackArbitrum Orbit (Nitro and ArbOS), operated with Conduit
Block time100 ms canonical blocks
Throughput300 Mgas/s execution target
Gas tokenHYPE, native, bridged 1:1 from HyperEVM
EVMStock ArbOS, standard tooling
Data availabilityAnyTrust committee, with full-data fallback to HyperEVM
SequencingSingle sequencer at launch, neutral priority-fee ordering
WithdrawalsOptimistic, with a challenge period

RPC endpoints

The public testnet RPC is shared by every user and rate-limited. It is suitable for development and light reads. For indexing, historical queries or production traffic, use a dedicated provider endpoint.

Kinetiq lists Alchemy as the recommended provider. Testnet endpoints follow this pattern, with your own API key:

Text
https://elysium-testnet.g.alchemy.com/v2/YOUR_API_KEY
wss://elysium-testnet.g.alchemy.com/v2/YOUR_API_KEY

Indexers need full historical data. Use an archive-capable endpoint when scanning from early blocks.

Getting testnet HYPE

  1. Open the testnet faucet and request tokens to your address.
  2. Alternatively, bridge HYPE from HyperEVM testnet using the Elysium bridge.
  3. Confirm your balance in the explorer or with a public client.
TypeScript
import { formatEther } from 'viem'
import { publicClient } from './lib/client'

const balance = await publicClient.getBalance({
  address: '0x0000000000000000000000000000000000000000',
})

console.log(`${formatEther(balance)} HYPE`)

Adding the network manually

If your wallet does not support the button above, add a custom network with these values:

FieldValue
Network nameElysium Testnet
RPC URLhttps://testnet-rpc.elysium.kinetiq.xyz
Chain ID99801
Currency symbolHYPE
Block explorerhttps://elysium.kinetiq.xyz/testnet-explorer

The wallet request

The button uses the standard EIP-3085 wallet_addEthereumChain method over an EIP-1193 provider, discovered through EIP-6963 when available. The equivalent request is:

TypeScript
await provider.request({
  method: 'wallet_addEthereumChain',
  params: [
    {
      chainId: '0x185d9',
      chainName: 'Elysium Testnet',
      nativeCurrency: { name: 'HYPE', symbol: 'HYPE', decimals: 18 },
      rpcUrls: ['https://testnet-rpc.elysium.kinetiq.xyz'],
      blockExplorerUrls: ['https://elysium.kinetiq.xyz/testnet-explorer'],
    },
  ],
})

Error code 4001 means the user rejected the request. Error code -32002 means a request is already pending in the wallet.
